Comscentre's wholly owned subsidiary, Comscentre Networks, provides wholesale data via the company's own national MPLS network. Customers benefit from data at wholesale rates and full accessibility and control via the One Touch Control ™ customer portal.

National Layer 2 MPLS Network

Comscentre has invested into the building of a national data network with Points of Presence (POPs) in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth currently and an additional PoP being built in Adelaide.

Comscentre provides Layer 2 (L2) data tail service options across each of the major POPs via major L2 service providers. To extend the reach of the Comscentre network to provide a truly national coverage a number of smaller providers and partners are used.

Vendor service aggregation points are installed in data racks in each POP location and this has enabled Comscentre to deliver a multi-layer national network providing connectivity between end customer sites located throughout Australia and international locations.

All Comscentre’s POP locations are interconnected via fully protected Carrier Grade Ethernet point-to-point links and state-of-the art Cisco switching and routing platforms.

End customer site services can be delivered using a combination of different last mile provider solutions as required, typically using both copper and fibre mediums. Where required wireless and satellite options are also available to Comscentre’s end customers providing L3 Internet and private network connectivity.

Service bandwidths ranging from 64Kbps to 10Gbps are available to Comscentre end customers on both a wholesale or retail basis.

Comscentre offers end customers a variety of Cisco CPE options- based on link speeds deployed and functionality required by the customer.
