Ben shipley, Managing director

Ben studied at Griffith University and following a successful career in IT and communications established Comscentre in Sydney in 2002. He recognised a market opportunity for the provision of unified communications solutions for small to medium businesses. These organisations were increasingly finding themselves weighed .down by the management and cost of maintaining multiple technology providers. The primary objective in establishing Comscentre was to remove the complexity of Unified Communications to reduce costs and increase productivity. In 2004 Ben re-located the business to Brisbane to better service the foundation client, Flight Centre. Comscentre is the second business Ben has established, the first being eGlobal which was listed on the ASX during the dot come boom period.

geoff tyerman, chief information officer

Comscentre CIO and partner since 2004, Geoff has had an extensive career in IT and communications including 12 years at Telstra and 12 years as the IT Manager at Flight Centre. Geoff’s experience at Telecom gave him a great foundation for IT systems and Standards within a high availability computing environment. After an 18 Month stint as IT support Manager for the News Room at Thames TV London he joined Flight Centre as the first IT Professional for the organisation in 1993, using his experience he setup strong IT standards that enabled the Flight Centre group to grow from a 140 Stores to over 1000 Stores in 6 countries. At the time Geoff left we was managing a $18 Million annual IT budget and had 66 staff.

STUART SHARMAN, STATE MANAGER vICTORIA

Mr Sharman has 21 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, engineering and customer service in Victoria. He spent 14 years with Telecom Australia in various positions including Communication Technology Specialist within the Enterprise and Government Sales Team, and four years as an Account Director at Orange Business Services, where he sold the first ever Managed Cisco Telepresence service in the Asia Pacific. His most recent position was General Manager at Pepperstorm, a Cisco Silver Partner and key Cisco training partner.

PAUL GLASS, STATE MANAGER WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. He has worked in sales in South Africa and the UK including three years with Jersey Telecom in Jersey, The Channel Islands. Here he managed a large client base across the UK, APAC, and the USA operating a range of applications including Cisco, Nortel and data networks. He joined Comscentre in February 2010.

blair burchill, group marketing manager

Blair has 15 years of advertising and marketing experience spread across advertising agencies in Australia and London. Following 6 years in London, working primarily at Ogilvy & Mather as an Account Director on Panadol, British Petroleum, KFC and Lucozade, and Abbot Mead Vickers on the Sainsbury's account, he returned to Australia to work with Cummins & Partners in Brisbane as the Group Account Director on Virgin Blue and Stockland Residential Developments. He joined Comscentre in May 2011 in the national marketing role. He holds a Bachelor of Business from QUT.
